moss for longchamp.

Kate Moss models her SS11 Longchamp bag collection which, unexpectedly, i rather like. She's managed a good mix of classic and contemporary styles. I need that stripy beach bag this summer. She will also feature in a short promo film named Farawaydirected by Vogue photographer Alasdair McLellan and shot in Marrakech. To be released on Thursday.

    There is society...

...where none intrudes, by the deep sea.

I would rather like to snuggle up with a good book here.

    saskia de brauw.

"Now I found a new girl called Saskia. She has short hair, no one knows her, and this is going to be my last cover." Carine Roitfeld

For her final Vogue Paris cover Carine has chosen up-and-coming Dutch model Saskia de  Brauw. So far this year she has featured in SS11 and pre-fall 2011 campaigns by Givenchy and  Balenciaga and i am rather enamoured with her look.

    Au revoir Carine.

    the row.

The Olsen sisters did good in New York this time around. The classic looks are so well put together, with brilliant hair and makeup. I am very pro the comfy combination of fur, thick woolen socks and velvet slippers.

what do you do for fun?

'His work came at a time when the world simply wasn’t willing to accept, address or even talk about the issues that kids were and still are going through. It was daring, dark and in some ways purposely obnoxious. Of course consulting issues such as addiction, violence and sex comes with the baggage of controversyJoel Chima

These are a selection of photographs from the ever controversial Larry Clark's recent show at Paris' Musée d'Art Modern, entitled kiss the past hello.  So controversial in fact, that the images were deemed unsuitable for under 18s by the Parisian mayor.

His most recent exhibition, What do you do for fun? will run at the Simon Lee Gallery in London from 10 February to 2 April. Must go.

James Morgon photographs the Bajau Laut community and their indigenous fishing methods in the Coral Triangle, one of the most marine diverse ecosystems on the planet. I need to go here. Incredible.

    darling.

'I love her hippie look from the '60s and '70s, when she was dating Warren Beatty. She's always been surprising. British style isn't always the most refined, but I love her eccentric look.' Kate Moss

'Julie Christie remains engrained in the collective imagination as the timeless, heartbreakingly beautiful Lara from Doctor Zhivago. She had the kind of femininity that made men dream and a style that made women sigh.'Vogue Italia

I especially love her in this photo taken in 1965 on the set of Darling, with director John Schlesinger. Look at that stunning handbag.

    into the wild.

"I completely identified with the character. I think that, at a certain point in life, we all have wanted to drop everything and to move far away, create a new life, and become someone else so we wouldn't be prisoners of our life, rather set out to explore something new and unknown." Emile Hirsh.
